Having driven the route, I would say the first leg out of Looe is the worse for the D route. Indeed, the last bit from Torrington to Barnstaple is lovely and flat; so I would have to say that the day gets easier as it goes on.

Hi Jon- the one that says right at the bridge is the correct one; less of a climb, and quieter roads= happier cycling!

Hi Guys,
Just checked out the routes published on Google and the route mapped by Nick (Ricey) on Bikely and they are different!! One route stays on the B3254 at Sandplace station (nr Looe) and the other takes a right at the bridge. Can you confirm which route is correct

Hello coast to coasters ! Has anyone actually driven this route before or someone have any idea how hilly it is ?? My Grandma seems to be worrying that its going to be steep (I'm personally not worried at all ) Thanks . Kyle .
