I agree with the comment about the pasty, cold & frozen inside, coffee cold. Great route and challenge. Shame the weather was bad but enjoyed it anyway.
Also agree with the comment about having to wait around after each stop which was not great with such poor weather.

My first cycle challenge - amazing! So well organised and everyone was so friendly and encouraging along the way. It was a great welcome into Barnstaple and would have been fantastic to have hung around if the weather had been better. Despite hitting a car and doing a summersalt I am not aching this morning! Thanks to all the organisers x

Great event - shocking weather. Very Poor timing mats. Every other event in the world can cope with chips being mounted on the wheel skewers. Caused chaos at the start with everyone having to change where they were mounted. Resulting in damage to my bike before we'd even set off. Frozen pasty at the food stop - not great either but the rest of the food was good.
The finish was fantastic. Final comment, in weather like we had today, keeping us hanging around so long at the stops wasn't great as we got very cold.

Thanks everyone who marshalled and came out to cheer us on in what was really bad weather.

A big thanks to the Coast - Coast team again for all their hard work. A very well organised and run event - and fantastic opportunity for Ben to do his first big ride. Cheers

Apologies for the "Specsavers" comment below. (and I know I can't spell). Just being cheeky, and nothing whatsoever to do with the organisers of the event.
