Well done everyone on completing another fantastic Devon Coast - Coast Challenge!
Did my best to get as many mentions to folks who'd emailed as possible but gave up when I couldn't read my water logged notes!

My thanks to many happy cyclists smiling through the finish, all our sponsors, the Awesome Roadie Helpers who spent hours cable tying and holding down flying finish barriers Samba Sol for making sure the beat went on, Dave Edwards for ensuring I had a Looe hang over, The Very Royal Southfork Racing, our super bag piper The best orgaising committee, friends and family you could wish for and an awesome bank holiday band called...Drench! Says it all really!

Down at the very prestigousTorquay Halfords Tour Series yesterday my 15 year old lad stood on the start line in the cold rain again prepared to smash up his new carbon bike on the first wet corner while comisaires faffed for 15 mins. He turned to me and muttered through chattering teeth, " Dad I'm starvin', I could murder a cold pastie !"

A BIG thankyou to everyone who made this first time cycle challenge an unforgettable experience for my daughter and I. It wasnt without drama, wet slippy roads, a fall in the hedge and the bike of doom!! but we did it and we are proud to have taken part. Definitely see you all next year

Well done to all , superb event , the 100 miles certainly tested my limits . Will be back next year i'am sure . GREAT CHARITY EVENT with lots of money raised for people who need it . As the son of a former patient my coldness , arching legs and other minor ailments pale into insignificance.

Best route ever and the mild discomfort the british weather threw at us fades into nothing when the benefit of this ride is truly realised by those really going through the mill at the Hospice, sincerely hope it makes a difference and will be abck to do it again next year.

I have read through the list of starters today and my name is not included! I signed in at registration and my chip number was 202, which was removed at the finish. Please could you update the list? Thank you.

I have to agree. STOP MOANING. This was my first C2C and I certainly wasn't put off. The organisation for this type of event must be huge. Yes the weather was rubbish but that is one thing the organisers can't plan for. We all got cold at the stops but it wouldn't have been the same if we hadn't all restarted together. Tired, cold but still an achievement

WOW!! I'm surprised by the whinging & whining below, GET A GRIP! Myself and those riding with me had a great day on a typical British summer's day. Thanks to the organisers, helpers and well done to all those who took part.

Thanks for the ride
Hey - the Coast - Coast team have all given a lot of their time for free to organise and run the ride. This isn't a Sportif, it's a charity ride, open to all abilities. That does mean we wait for the slower riders, and apart from the last stop there was room inside to wait out of the weather. A big thanks again.
